NITRO BRAKEĀ® Contains:

  • Nitrogen (N): 4.2% - 42 g/L
  • Phosphorus (P2O5): 42% - 420 g/L
  • 3,5 DMPP: 32% - 320 g/L
This means NITRO BRAKE has the highest concentration of Inhibitor molecule in the market.

Although DMPP acts on the soil bacteria and not on the fertilizers, its dosage is defined by the quantity of Ammonium fertilizer used, because the greater the amount of applied Ammonium, the greater the amount of bacteria needed to be inhibited in its activity to maintain the efficiency of the Inhibitor product.

Recommended dosages were defined based on dosage screening performed in nursery plants, achieving the highest efficiency when using 1,25% of the total ammonium applied, thus calculating the current dosages indicated on our labels.

  • Recommendations for use:

  • Application to stock solution (fertilizer solution in mechanized irrigation):
  • Urea: 18 cc of NITRO BRAKE per kg or 450 cc per 25 kg bag or 18 L per ton.
  • Ammonium Sulphate: 8,5 cc of NITRO BRAKE per kg or 215 cc per 25 kg bag or 8,5 L per ton.
  • Ammonium Nitrate (33%): 6,5 cc of NITRO BRAKE per kg or 165 cc per 25 kg bag or 6.5 L per ton.
  • Mono-Ammonium-Phosphate (MAP): 5 cc of NITRO BRAKE per kg or 125 cc per 25 kg bag or 5 L per ton.
  • Liquid Ammonium Nitrate (22% p/v): 4,5 cc of NITRO BRAKE per Liter.
  • Liquid UAN (42% p/v): 12,5 cc of NITRO BRAKE per Liter.
  • NPK mixtures (crystalline or liquid): 0,04 cc of NITROBRAKE per gr, 40 cc per kg of Ammonium N and / or Urea N.
  • For optimum performance of the product, NITRO BRAKE must be used in a dosage higher than 3 L/ha per period of application of the Ammonium fertilizer.
